Accountability Tuesdays: Week 5

Don’t you just hate how all of these “experts” get to make picks and predictions with no real accountability afterwards? I sure do. So here we go. Every week I’ll share my results, the good and the bad. No excuses, just results.

Rough week all around. I said coming into this week that it was going to be the week of the underdog. I was correct. Favorites only covered 5 games. Unfortunately, I didn’t commit to that with my picks.

I switched last minute on the Bucs-Falcons pick, which was costly. I didn’t go with my gut Thursday Night like I should have. Another costly mistake. And then the Sunday Night game between the Bengals and Ravens was a crushing miss as the Ravens only won by 2. The Eagles game was also a tough defeat as they only won by a field goal.

My over/unders rebounded to respectability after a dismal Week 4. Nothing major to touch on here.

It’s been a wild 5 weeks. The one thing I’m confident in is that I’m not truly confident in anything. Understanding that is what’s going to spark my midseason run of excellence.

I like sports. I’m very opinionated. I like sharing my opinions and arguing senselessly with anyone who wants to argue.
