Monday Night Lock: 2023 Week 1

What a thrilling divisional game to finish off Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season. The Bills are expected by many to contend for a Super Bowl after a few years of coming up just short. The Aaron Rodgers — led Jets are hoping to hoping to do the same after years of futility.
The offseason was quiet for the Bills, other than some drama surrounding Stefon Diggs. It’s been swept under the rug, but I’m not buying it. I think there are some issues there. I think this team missed their Super Bowl window and are on the downswing. That being said, they still have Josh Allen and a very solid defense, so they certainly won’t be pushed around by any team. I just don’t have the same expectations on them that others do.
The Jets added Aaron Rodgers, which many think will immediately fix their offense. I’m not buying that either, considering the questions on their o-line along with a lack of weapons other than Garrett Wilson. I do really like the Dalvin Cook addition though. And nothing really needs to be mentioned about their defense aside from it being elite.
I really like the Jets here. Home dogs in a divisional game. Give me that. Metlife is going to be rocking. Rodgers loves this. I’ll take the points with the Jets and the under.
