Monday Night Lock: 2023 Week 11

This is it! The Super Bowl rematch! What a way to finish the week of football leading into Thanksgiving.
The Eagles are the most complete team in football. They can beat you in so many different ways. They’ve only stumbled one time this season. They haven’t necessarily looked dominant often this season, but 8–1 is 8–1. Obivously a win here wouldn’t erase losing to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl last year, but it would go a long way to building their confidence if they were to see them again in February, which is certainly a possibility.
It’s shocking to say that an Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce led Chiefs team has been better on defense than offense this season, but that is exactly what the first half of their season has been. This is the best defense that this team has had during their run here. They lack weapons on offense, but they also lacked those same weapons last year when they won the Super Bowl against this very team. So you can’t count them out, regardless of having an inferior roster in this matchup.
I’ll take the field goal with the Eagles here. I expect an awesome game. I’m not super confident who wins it, but I’ll feel better knowing I have the 3 points. I do expect a ton of offense and points, so I’ll take the over as well.
