Monday Night Lock: 2023 Week 15
Eagles (-3.5) @ Seahawks, O/U 45
Who’s playing QB tonight? I have no clue anymore. This NFL season has been all about backup QB matchups anyway so why not have another one here. Both of these teams need a win badly as the Eagles enter losers of 2 straight and the Seahawks having lost 4 straight.
The Eagles have real problems. Whether or not Jalen Hurts plays or not, they need better play from their QB. For his sake, I hope he’s been hurt since that would explain the dropoff in play. More importantly than that, their defense needs to play closer to their talent. They’ve been so awful that they’re going to Matt Patricia to call plays. Yikes.
The Seahawks may stink. They may fall out of the playoffs altogether. It’s looking like Drew Lock will be back there, which is less than inspiring for them. I still like their weapons and their defense has flashed occassionally, but this team needs a win desperately.
I’m going Seattle here. I think traveling to Seattle in the middle of December for a Monday Night game is going to be too much for Philly. And I think Seattle is the more desperate team, even though the Eagles are also a very desperate team right now. Give me the points with the Seahawks along with the over.
