Monday Night Lock (NFL Week 11)

Giants @ Buccaneers (-11), O/U 49.5

The Buccaneers enter this game having not won a football game since October 24th. That’s nearly a month. And they find themselves clinging to the top of the NFC South standings solely because of the other teams refusing to win games. The Giants can find themselves right back into the playoff race (somehow) if they find a way to win this game. So what may have looked like an awful game a month ago has suddenly turned into quite the meaningful one.

The Giants gave the Buccaneers all they could handle last season in a narrow 25–23 victory by Tom Brady and the Bucs. The memory of that game is enough for me to take the points with the Giants here. 11 is a lot. That’s enough for the Buccaneers to win this game convincingly, but the Giants still cover. And if the Giants were to put up any sort of fight, they should cover easily. Give me the road team.
