Rams (-3.5) @ 49ers, O/U 50.5

We’ve got a good one. The Rams look to bounce back after an ugly primetime loss last week. They’ll look to do so with star acquisition, Von Miller, making his first appearance with the team, along with star acquisition from this week, Odell Beckham Jr., making his first appearance. What looked like a luxury addition when they signed OBJ on Thursday has turned into quite the necessary one now with the season-ending injury to Robert Woods. It will be interesting to see how quickly he will be thrown into the fire here.

On the other hand, the 49ers have an opportunity to erase their own embarrassing performance from last week with a win here. In doing so, despite a disappointing first half to the season, they would find themselves right back in the playoff hunt in a top heavy NFC.

I don’t expect the 49ers to get it done. The Rams are too talented. Yes, it takes time to learn new systems and get acclimated to everything. Yes, it’s a division, primetime game and the 49ers are the home team. But sometimes talent just wins out. And the Rams are simply too talented in my eyes to lose this one. I’ll lay the points with the Rams here.

Picks: Rams -3.5 (Deadbolt), UNDER 50.5 (Deadbolt)
