Monday Night Lock (NFL Week 7)

Saints (-4) @ Seahawks, O/U 41

This Russell Wilson injury has been a total bummer for primetime football. But Geno Smith and the Seahawks played an entertaining game last Sunday night and should do so again this Monday night.

The Saints have had a wild ride to their 3–2 record so far on the season, still not convincing me that they’re a good team. I didn’t feel great about this Seahawks team before Wilson’s injury and certainly don’t feel great about them now. That being said, this is a primetime game in Seattle. I think that means something.

I’m taking the Seahawks here getting the points. I’ve been marginally impressed by what I’ve seen from Geno, at least enough to think they’ll be competitive. Give me the home team here.
