Monday Night Lock: Week 11
49ers (-10) @ Cardinals, O/U 43
Football in Mexico! And a big swing game in the NFC West. The 49ers sit at just 5–4, but a lot of people, myself included, view them as one of the elite teams in not just the NFC, but the NFL as a whole. But you are what your record says you are, and a loss here would drop them to just .500 and by no means a lock for the playoffs even. A win, however, would propel them into first place in their division via division tiebreaker.
The Cardinals are playing their second game in a row with Colt McCoy instead of Kyler Murray, and quite frankly, I think that may help them. And for their sake, it better. The difference between 4–7 and 5–6 is major in this NFC playoff chase.
I don’t feel good laying double digits with many teams, so I’ll simply back the Cardinals here getting 10. I like Colt McCoy to make a few timely plays and find a way to cover this number. I’ll take the over as well.
