Monday Night Locks (NFL Week 16)

Dolphins (-3) @ Saints, O/U 38

A lot is on the line this Monday Night with two 7–7 teams fighting for their Wild Card lives. Like so many other games lately, this one is largely impacted by Covid. Ian Book will see his first NFL action under the lights in primetime as his team tries to get above .500. This could be a movie in the making should he impress and become the guy in New Orleans. Will that happen? Who knows.

I’m not going out on a limb for a guy I’ve never seen take an NFL snap, so I’ll take the Dolphins. I do expect a competitive, low-scoring game, and this line moving to a full field goal has dampened my confidence with this pick. But the Dolphins are hot right now. I’ll roll with them.
