NFC East 2023 Season Preview
The Eagles are loaded once again. Get used to reading that. They have talent, youth, and draft picks. If you’re an Eagles fan, count your blessings. There’s no weakness to even point out with this team. I know they’re the favorite, but taking them to win the NFC is the pick.
The Cowboys are a bit tricky to me. I like this team. They have flashy guys on defense. They have playmakers on offense. But they still have a QB and a coach who I don’t truly believe in. And this division has the potential to be pretty good. I have them making the playoffs, but to not make the playoffs at those odds is too good to pass up, since I think it’s more of a 60/40 they get in.
The Giants were the darling of the league last year, shocking everyone as they advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They are certainly much more talented from a roster standpoint. And they handled the Daniel Jones and Saquon offseason contract situations pretty well. You have to love their Daboll too as their coach. I’ve heard a lot of “this team will be better than last year but their record will be worse”. I’m not buying that. I have them getting to double digit wins and getting into the playoffs.
I can’t fully figure out the Commanders, mostly because we have no clue about Sam Howell at QB. But this team has some talent on both sides of the ball. If Howell is decent, this team will win some games. If he’s good, watch out. I think they’re the clear 4th best team in this division, but their win/loss total is far too low. Take the over.
