Christmas football! The Vikings season essentially ended with their loss to the Bears last week. Offensively, this team still presents some problems, but defensively this team has struggled immensely with consistently stopping anyone. Drew Brees is in his 2nd game back for the Saints following his extended absence. They’re hoping to break their modest 2-game losing streak as they look to build some momentum heading into the postseason.
I’m going with the Saints laying 6.5 points. The Saints run defense has been elite all season long, so I expect them to contain Dalvin Cook. I expect the Saints to score pretty much at will on the Vikings defense, so a final score in the range of 31–23 seems about right.
