Lions (-2) @ Packers, O/U 45.5

WHAT A FANTASTIC THURSDAY NIGHT GAME! NFC North battle. 2–1 vs. 2–1. Likely the two teams that will be battling it out this season for the division. This is awesome.

The Lions come into this game after an extremely impressive performance defensively last week where they really started to show their dominance defending the run. That’ll be a key aspect of this game. Offensively, they live and die with their elite o-line, with or without the injuries they’ve have to deal with. It seems they’ve built a culture that it doesn’t matter who dresses, that o-line is going to dominate. But it certainly helps if they have their starters in.

The Packers had an awesome comeback last week where Jordan Love, once again, impressed. This kid is solid. And this will be a big moment for him in front of a national audience. Getting his two best offensive playmakers will also certainly help, but being without a couple o-linemen may cause some challenges against Hutchinson and the rest of that Lions d-line.

I’m going Lions here. They’ve beaten the Packers 3 straight times, including that Week 18 game last year in Lambeau. They should be able to control the line of scrimmage on both sides, which in a game like this, will likely be the difference maker. I’ll lay the points with the road favorite here and take the under.

Picks: Lions -2 (Deadbolt), UNDER 45.5 (Deadbolt)
