Thursday Night Lock (NFL Week 15)
Chiefs (-3.5) @ Chargers, O/U 54
Huge Thursday Night game here. The Chiefs are looking to avenge their early season loss at the hands of the Chargers that really put Justin Herbert on the map. A win would give them a 2-game lead in the division, and with 3 weeks to go, that’s a good spot to be in. On the other hand, the Chargers would take the division lead with a win as they would then hold the tiebreaker over their division rival. That would certainly make the next few weeks extremely interesting in this division. Who would want to see the Chiefs as a Wild Card team?
I’m going Chargers here. The Chargers always play them tough. They’re the home team on a short week. They’re getting more than a field goal. They have enough talent to keep this game close. All due respect to the Chiefs and their defense, their offense has not played well outside of two games against the Raiders since the beginning of the season. In a close game, more than a field goal is a lot. So I’ll take the points with the home team here.
