Buccaneers (-6.5) @ Eagles, O/U 52.5

Two teams coming off of a win in Week 5 meet up to kick off Week 6. The reigning champs have looked every part of a legitimate Super Bowl contender outside of one hiccup a few weeks ago. The Eagles, on the other hand, can’t make up their mind whether they’re a playoff contending team or a top 5 draft picking team.

While it was certainly an impressive road win last week by the Eagles, I’m still not sold on them. I know it’s difficult to run against the Bucs anyway, and a somewhat sound strategy is simply aborting the run altogether and throwing it every play, but it seems like that’s all the Eagles want to do every week. I think they’ll score some points in this one, but Tom Brady and that offense are humming, and I don’t see that changing in this one. I’ll lay the points with the Bucs.

Picks: Buccaneers -6.5 (Padlock), OVER 52.5 (Padlock)
