Thursday Night Football! And finally it’s a good one! Right?! Oh wait, the Packers don’t have any of their WRs? This stinks.
I was so fired up for this game for weeks. The Covid news first with Davante Adams dampened my excitement. The Covid news with Allen Lazard really made me sad. Then Valdes-Scantling wasn’t activated off IR… game over.
I’ll take the Cardinals here. I know that the Packers are 6–0 without Davante. I know Aaron Rodgers is still that dude. That doesn’t change the fact that I believe Davante Adams is as important to the Packers offense as any non-QB is to their respective offense in the league (that includes you Derrick Henry). The Cardinals are a legitimate team playing at home in primetime on a short week. I’ll lay the points with Arizona.
