NFC East showdown to kick off Week 2 with both teams eager to fill up the win column after Week 1 losses. These two teams always play tight ones, with the Giants sweeping the 2020 series by a total of 4 points. I expect another tight one here with both teams lacking offensive firepower but boasting stingy defenses.
I think Washington overcomes the loss of Ryan Fitzpatrick to win this one. Taylor Heinicke showed he was a deserving NFL quarterback last postseason, and I expect him to hold his own. Chase Young and the rest of that Washington d-line should feast on the Giants porous o-line. Yes, I am aware that logic was disproven in both games last season, but I’m still rolling with it here. Daniel Jones has 4 wins in his career against Washington. He has 4 wins total against the rest of the league. That can’t continue. I’ll lay the field goal with the Football Team in a low scoring, tight one.
